Security Awareness Success

I have finally had the validation that my casual yet persistent security awareness approach actually works and eventually gets into the consciousness (and subconscious) of those around me.

Case in point: Yesterday, my 11 year-old son was asked, out of the blue, by an adult "what kinds things in your household are absolutely immutable and can never be bypassed or missed?" I'm sure she was expecting answers about chores, or washing behind his ears, or something like that.

Without hesitation his reply was "Updates! I always have to do security updates on all my devices as soon as they come out!"

I have never been more proud. Ever.
