Article: How to read a privacy policy in a post-GDPR world

The Verge did a great job with a quick summation video of what to look for in a privacy policy when reviewing, hopefully before you have accepted it or begun to use the service. A quick scan for a few key things can give you a very good idea of what the service collects, what they will (or won't) do with your data,  and who they share it with. Check out the full article along with the video on The Verge as well!As always, these recommendations are intended for your personal use, and may not be applicable to corporate or institutional processes where you work or study. If you are looking at a service for use in a company or university (or any entity beyond your own personal use) please consult your security, privacy or procurement office before you accept anything on behalf of the organisation or institution.
