On-Demand Video from ALA Annual 2017

Thanks to the social media team at ProQuest, my talk from ALA Annual 2017 entitled "Privacy is the Future: The Library's Role as Educator, Defender and Enforcer" is now available on-demand via Facebook Live. I am not embedding it since I do not want Facebook cookies dropped on your machine just for having come to my site.  If you click the video link, you will be taken to Facebook and will be subject to their terms and conditions (and privacy policy).  The same goes for the slides, except it will be LinkedIn/Microsoft's T's/C's and privacy policy - you have been informed, now make an informed decision!Video (via Facebook Live)Slides (via Slideshare)Please let me know your thoughts and comments.Thank you to all those who attended, either in-person or via live stream. It was a great turnout and was amazing to see such support for privacy of data, and the library's role in passing this message on to patrons and their communities. I am hopeful that this topic can keep forward motion and privacy can become standard fare for libraries to bring to their constituents.
